DUAL ENROLLMENT
Dual Enrollment
Dual Enrollment (DE) refers to college-level courses taught to high-school students. Once completed, the high-school student receives credit at both high school AND the participating university. DE courses taught at Tri-City Christian Academy (TCA) are extensions of Arizona Christian University (ACU). ACU is regionally accredited with The Higher Learning Commission, North Central Association.
This Dual Enrollment program is offered to any accepted and registered senior at TCA. In these regionally accredited, college-level courses from ACU the student may expect a high level of academic quality and rigor. Students will be expected to perform at the college level and to meet attendance requirements. Pretests may also be required. A full and complete orientation to the program will be covered within the first week of classes. Students will receive two (2) grades for their course work; one will be seen on a TCA transcript, the other on an ACU transcript. Both grades are final.
TCA and ACU are responsible for the quality and the compliance of the Dual Enrollment courses. The parents/guardians of the enrolled student(s) are responsible for all financial obligations, for a strong academic effort, and for the consequent outcomes. Courses taught in the Dual Enrollment program will be taught on the campus of Tri-City Baptist Church, 2211 W Germann Rd, Chandler, AZ, 85286.
